Bittersweet Café is moving the old and bringing in the new!
My mom's cool steel arched tree trunk with branches signpost which bore the Bittersweet Antiques sign for the last 20 years had to be moved slightly back from Route 381 to improve the sight line for our customers. It was crafted by a local blacksmith, installed and planted with a bittersweet vine which we dug up and successfully moved with the sign. (I loosely use the word "we"...that sure isn't me driving that dozer !) Sounds simple but I think the pictures convey the craziness of the endeavor and our shock at our success. Now for a new sign!
